Otto Maidi is a South African bass-baritone opera singer and performer with extensive experience in opera, musical theatre, concert performance, and screen acting. He is a classically trained vocalist with a strong international performance background across South Africa, Europe, and the United States, known for his powerful voice, emotional depth, and commanding stage presence.
He has performed principal roles in major operas and musicals, toured internationally with William Kentridge productions, and collaborated with leading orchestras including the Johannesburg, Cape Town, KwaZulu-Natal, and Pretoria Philharmonic Orchestras, as well as international ensembles in the USA.
